Avocado & Venison Toast

Description: Filling and with a little kick to it, this venison and avocado toast keeps you fueled for the day and gives so many essential macro and micronutrients.
Ingredients:
- 1 whole chopped onion
- 14 oz venison
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 diced tomatoes
- 1-2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 medium diced sweet potato
- 1 avocado
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of toast (sourdough, whole wheat, etc.)
Recipe:
1. Heat a large pan on medium heat, add the butter and onions
2. Mix the onions on the hot pan till golden brown or translucent
3. Add the venison and cook until no longer pink
4. Add the diced tomatoes, taco seasoning, salt, sweet potato and water to the pan
5. Stir all the ingredients together and let it simmer on low heat for 5-10 minutes
6. Toast the slices of bread and add avocado, salt and pepper to the toast as the base layer
7. Turn off the heat for the venison and serve on top of the avocado toast
