Hi! My name is Kiarra Prochazka, and I wanted to share a little bit about myself and why I decided to start this blog. I’ve been playing competitive ice hockey since I was eight years old, and ever since then, the game has been a huge part of my life. Hockey has taught me so much about discipline, hard work, and taking care of myself both on and off the ice.
As I got older, I started creating my own workouts and learning more about how to become stronger and perform better. But one thing I quickly realized was that training is only one part of the equation — nutrition matters just as much. Learning how to properly fuel my body completely changed the way I felt and performed as an athlete.
That’s what inspired me to start this blog. I want to share what I’ve learned along the way and help other student-athletes find simple, realistic ways to fuel their bodies, feel their best, and stay healthy while balancing sports, school, and everyday life. Whether it’s nutrition tips, workouts, recovery, or just things I’ve learned through my own experiences, I hope this can be a place that feels motivating, supportive, and easy to connect with.
